Gal Gadot’s Wonder Woman Costume for 'Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice': First Photo Revealed
As Gal Gadot has officially joined the cast of the upcoming 'Batman V. Superman: Dawn of Justice' film, she was recently shown in her new Wonder Woman costume.
The 'Fast and Furious' actress will be portraying the role of the heroine in the upcoming film which is already slated for a 2016 release date.
To tease fans, director Zack Snyder revealed her character's official image for the first time. During Friday's Comic-Con event, the actress appeared with her other co-stars as Snyder made his presenation.
Gal Gadot's new costume image goes hand in hand with the other photo posted by Snyder himself via Twitter on July 24. The other image shows Ben Affleck as Batman in his usually solemn and mysteriously tormented state. The release of that image over Twitter coincides with the character's 75th anniversary. Besides these two photos, spoilers for the film have been kept to a deliberate minimum.
This film is most likely Gal Gadot's biggest feature since her part in the 'Fast and Furious' film series. Her new costume seems to go against the grain when it comes to the traditional Wonder Woman costume of red, blue, white, and gold. Apparently, the producers and designers have decided to give Wonder Woman a Spartan like make-over.
Aside from the costume itself, viewers will notice that Wonder Woman is holding a sword, something that is not uncommon of the character. Beyond the costume, Snyder had his actors keep quiet during their Comic-Con event appearance to prevent any spoilers from leaking onto the Internet.
