Recently, during National Quartet Convention Bill Gaither of Gaither Vocal Band introduced new piano player for Gaither Vocal Band and Gaither Homecoming Tour. The new piano player's name is Matthew Holt.

Matthew Holt plays piano professionally since his 19. Previously, Holt accompanied popular Southern Gospel formation The Perrys. Holt was a full time piano player for The Perrys from 2004-2008.

Holt departed from The Perrys when he and his wife Lindsey expected their first child, and Holt started to work full time as Associate Director of Bethel University in Tennessee where he still works.
