'Full House' Reboot Rumors: Original Cast Members to Return, John Stamos Fights For New Series

New reports have broke about a potential reboot of the popular 1987-1995 ABC sitcom, 'Full House'. While nothing is confirmed as of yet, TVGuide claim that John Stamos is "actively trying" to get the show back on the air.

While the new show will surely not air on Nick at Nite like it used to, probably do to the fact that the Nickelodeon late night segment no longer exists, it stands a good chance to comeback.

The show's creator Jeff Franklin would be the one in charge of writing for the show, and the original 'Full House' executive, Bob Boyett, would also be on board.

In terms of cast members, fans of the original series would be excited to learn that some of the original cast members would be happy to make a comeback onto the new show.

Apparently, veteran cast members Candace Cameron Bure, Jodie Sweetin, and Andrea Barber would play some part in the new series.

Beyond that, Bob Saget and Dave Coulier would also return, but it's still unknown how they'd be incorporated into the revived 'Full House'

Despite all the excitement from the 'Full House' fans, not everyone feels the same way. Actress Lori Loughlin, who played Aunt Becky on the show, had some things to say about all of this in an interview with Marc Malkin.

According to E!Online she said "If it were a really good script and a great project, but sometimes I think that it's better off to leave those TV shows as they were and not do reunion shows."

As it stands, this news is still breaking, but many fans surely hope that John Stamos wins the bid to get 'Full House' back on the air.
