'Full House' Reboot Series ABC Starring Original Tanner Family Cast for Sequel From Series Creator Jeff Franklin

"Full House" reboot in the works? New episodes on the way with original cast members?

This could happen as series creator Jeff Franklin has revealed that he has been approached to work on a sequel reboot of "Full House". The new series would also bring back some of the show's original actors in reprise roles.

"Full House" was one of ABC's most popular series of the late 80s/early 90s and does not come as a shocker that they would want to reboot it with several other series such as "Charmed" and "Boy Meets World" in the works of coming back as well.

The sequel series is rumored to be centered on D.J. (Candace Cameron Bure) and Stephanie Tanner (Jodie Sweetin), now being the mothers of course.  Then guest spots will included the other beloved characters, Danny (Bob Saget), Joey (Dave Coulier), Jesse (John Stamos) and Rebecca (Lori Loughlin) returning as well.

Series creator Frankin said, "Last month I was asked by ABC and [Warner Bros.] to write a new show for the Full House characters. Everyone I've spoken with were very open to the idea [of returning]."

"Full House" was canceled in 1994 but still pulling in 11 million viewers an episode, which would be among top ratings today. Today, "Full House" still airs in 11 countries with reruns available in America almost every day.
