'Friends' Reunion Show Rumors: Thanksgiving 10th Anniversary Episode Will Not Happen

Rumors about a 'Friends' reunion show have recently emerged on the Internet, which has fans of the sitcom excited about a chance to see their favorite characters together once again.

Initially, a poster had surfaced over social media, which said that the show would return for a reunion episode on Thanksgiving of 2014. However, this was quickly dismissed as the image was deemed fan made, and had no actual network backing. The show aired its final episode 10 years ago, and a lot has changed since then. The actors of the famous sitcom themselves realize that a reunion show is not going to happen.

It seems as though the poster which was not intended to fool anyone, did so anyway.

What's more, is that the rumors were fueled after some of the 'Friends' actresses got together recently for a dinner in West Hollywood. Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow were spotted together, which surely had some fans thinking that the new episode was actually going to air. Also, some fans felt that a broadcast like that would air just in time for the 10th anniversary of the popular sitcom.

As it stands, NBC and the show's co-creator Marta Kauffman have officially stated that 'Friends' will not be making a reunion appearance on air this year. However, fans can always hope that something like that will be broadcast in the future.
