‘Friends’ Reunion Show Not Happening, Former Cast Members Slam Rumors
Rumor has it that the popular 'Friends' sitcom will be having a reunion show, but sources say that is far from the truth.
Stars of the hit TV show were recently seen hanging out again, sparkling rumors that the series will be back on the screen after its last airing 10 years ago. Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, and Lisa Kudrow reunited for a dinner at Craig's restaurant in West Hollywood. Fans may be excited about the news, but it seems like it will only be a rumor as one of the stars hinted that such a thing will never happen.
Courteney Cox recently opened up about the alleged movie that will be based on their hit NBC show. Cox stated on David Letterman's 'Late Show' that the sitcom will never be back in air, "Only because once you say, 'Well, I'd like it,' then they have to contact every other cast member and be like, 'Courteney's into it!' And then I get in trouble. It's not going to happen," the actress revealed.
The actress even said that a 'Friends' reunion show will never be possible since she can't even put together all the stars for a simple dinner. She also added that she might be able get the women to show, but when it comes to the men, everyone is always too busy.
Speculation claiming that there will be a 'Friends' reunion show came about when a poster of the show recently went viral. According to Tom Charlie Thompson, creator of the said fake poster, he made not for promotional purposes instead he was hoping that he would get several likes from his friends who also liked the show. He even cleared that the poster had his Twitter name on the bottom, to signal that it was fan made.
