'Friends' Lisa Kudrow and Courteney Cox Reunite via New HBO Series Premiere
Just last Wednesday comedy sitcom star Lisa Kudrow launched her new show 'The Comeback' via Hollywood. It was a well received show, but what made it more special was Kudrow's special guest and former 'Friends' co-star Courtney Cox.
Apparently there was a 'Friends' reunion when Cox and fiancé Johnny McDaid came and supported Kudrow in her latest HBO series premiere on November 9. Cox and Kudrow were all smiles for the media as they posed together both in their black dresses at the El Capitan theatre.
The two reportedly remained friends since their 'Friends' days as with the other cast members like Jennifer Aniston, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer. Kudrow is the co-creator, co-executive and star of the upcoming TV series.
The show ended more than a decade ago, but the cast members are apparently still connected with each other. There were several off-screen affairs, as well as on-screen gigs, the group had opportunities to get together which the fans got to enjoy as well.
Kudrow and Cox were together at the opening night of the LA Modernism Show in Santa Monica, California last year. The two best friends were also together as they performed during the Rock A Little, Feed A Lot benefit concert at Los Angeles in 2009 as well as appearing in Ford's 'Get Tied to the Cause' Breast Cancer Awareness luncheon at Los Angeles in 2004.
Meanwhile, Kudrow in her recent interview with E! News, the actress expressed her desire to do a whole season of 'Friends' when asked if she did want to have a reunion film, episode or season with the other original cast members. "A whole season, because to spend that much time with those people again would be heaven!" she said.
