French Open 2014 Schedule, Live Stream Info: NBC, ESPN 2, Tennis Channel Offering Nadal, Djokovic TV Coverage
The French Open is already underway at Roland Garros and viewers will have multiple options to watch the action live, including online streams.
Officially, the 2014 French Open began on Sunday with the start of the first round. Initial round action will carry on all through the week, closing to 16 players when the play ends on Sunday. Throughout the week there will be extensive coverage from Roland Garros, with three networks together providing more than 400 hours of coverage of the tournament.
All the stars will be out in action in the early round action. Although No. 1 seed on the women's singles side Serena Williams cruised through her first-round match on Sunday and is the current favorite, she has a few strong contenders, including Simona Halep, No. 4 seed who has lots of success during the second half of the 2013 season.
On the men's side, focus will be on Rafael Nadal, the eight-time French Open champion is the No. 1 seed, as he endeavors to continue his dominance on clay. However, in recent times, he has not been as good on clay as he was during his early career. However, he is still playing very well. Both Nadal and the other top seed Novak Djokovic are heavy favorites in their first-round matches.
NBC, ESPN2, and the Tennis Channel will come together on television coverage with all of them also offering online streams of their coverage. ESPN2 will take care of the weekday morning broadcast with supplementary coverage, including dedicated court streams, which will be available on ESPN3. NBC and NBCSports.com will provide coverage on Monday and the weekend, while Tennis Channel will provide daily coverage all through the week.
