Free Games for Xbox Live Gold Members August 2014: 4 New Game Downloads
Microsoft has been keeping up with Sony's PS Plus, by also offering new and amazing free games to its select users every month. Currently, Microsoft's Xbox Live Gold Members will receive two free games in August 2014.
In terms of specifics, two Xbox 360, and two Xbox One games will be available for download at absolutely no cost to anyone who has an Xbox Gold subscription.
Xbox 360 owners will be able to get the games via download between August 1 and August 15. They can download 'Motocross Madness', which is normally priced at $9.99. In addition, they can download Bethesda's 'Dishonored', originally priced at $19.99, from August 16 to August 31.
'Motocross Madness' is an off-road motorcycle racing game that enables players to race on various obstacle courses as well as perform tricks, while 'Dishonored' is a stealth action game, where the player's mission is to save the princess, be in charge of the empire, as the game provides players with gadgets, weapons plus magical powers.
On the other hand, Xbox One owners will get these two free games, 'Crimson Dragon' and 'Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut'. Both these games are priced at $19.99 each. These two games will replace 'Guacamelee! Super Championship Edition' and 'Max: The Curse of the Brotherhood'.
'Crimson Dragon' enables a player to be in charge of a dragon and combat enemy life forms. The player can also tutor the dragon and add new skills to it. In the other game, 'Strike Suit Zero: Director's Cut', a player joins in fleet battles to save the Earth.
All these games are available only for a limited period of time, hence, Gold members find the time to seize the opportunities. The players can keep the games forever after they download them.
