Franklin Graham's recent tours in Georgia and Poland led thousands of people to accept Jesus as their Lord and personal Savior.

"The media have told us there are strong and powerful forces working against us," said BGEA's President Graham at the Festival of Hope in Tbilisi, Georgia on June 8, according to a report by the Billy Graham Evangelistic Association (BGEA), "Well, guess what? We've got a very strong and powerful God working for us."

According to a report, over 15,000 people attended the event in Georgia and at least 1,000 people converted to Christianity that day. A woman named Natia was one of the people who made that bold step in accepting Jesus into their lives, this is what she had to say, "We had been praying for a year to go to the Sports Palace, but God had other plans. This is what He wanted. We've had so much resistance. But when you tell people you can't do something, they want to do it even more," and "I felt God was with us. I'm very sad it's already over. It only lasted three days. We need to have a Festival here every year."

The following week, Graham's Festival of Hope was hosted in Poland's capital city, Warsaw, on June 14 and 15, where 30,000 people (not to mention the countless number of people who viewed the event online via the BillyGraham.org/Live website) witnessed Billy Graham's son share the Gospel to the people in attendance. Newsboy's front-man Micheal Tait and his bandmates also performed some of their popular songs at the end of the event for the crowd.

"Altogether, we can change the world," said Tait to the Polish people in attendance at the event on June 15.

Graham's main message to the people at the event came from Mark 8:34-38 from the Scriptures.

"What will it profit a man if he gains the whole world and loses his own soul?," said Graham, "You could have all the iPhones in the world ... control all of the armies of the earth. You could put all the euros and stack them in this arena. Your soul is still more valuable."
