Emmy Award winning Producer, J.J. Abrams, ("Fringe", "Lost", "Revolution", "Star Trek", and "Mission Impossible") has come up with a new television drama called "Almost Human". The show is a action packed police based movie that is set 35 years in the future world. Fast track 35 years later, and our police force works with androids, human-like robots, that  take the place of having a partner.

The year 2048, is when the Tv series is based in and it follows John, a policeman freshly coming back to work. John is a depressed, PTSD police officer that is  having trouble getting used to his synthetic body part. Captain Sandra Maldonado, (Lilli Taylor) has made it a absolute rule that every cop should have a robot with them at all times. Even with his resentment towards anything robot, John has been partnered with Dorian, a android that ws long discontinued for emotional responses. With his responses deemed flawed as a android, the flaws were Dorians and Johns way of connecting. 

"Almost Human" will follow the weekly missions of John and Dorian as they fight crime in the most enhanced futuristic landscaping , while the greater mythology of this world begans to unfold. As John and Dorian adjust to eachother, John must also learn to get used to his new partners at the station including Detective Valerie Stahl (Minka Kelly), and the distrustful Detective Richard Paul (Michael Irby), who does not welcome John with friendly open arms. "Almost Human" will airing on FOX, Monday Nov. 4th at 8/7c.
