When "New Girl" actor Jake Johnson was asked by HuffPostTV if he understood the appeal of his Nick Miller character, he responded, "I really don't. I think he's a great character. I think he's very flawed, but I really like that he's flawed."

Johnson also commented on the future of Nick and Jess's relationship in season 3 of "New Girl." He said, " I don't know how they're going to sustain their relationship in this point in their lives. They're constantly on the verge of screwing it up. It feels like one wrong thing from either of them and the thing is gonna blow up."
