A press release has just broke on the official Xbox news website announcing a free title that will be available to all Xbox Live Games with Gold subscribers. 'Forza Motorsport 5' will be available for download starting Sept. 4 12:01 am PDT, through Sept 7 at 11:59 pm PDT to all those that qualify.

What's exciting about this free weekend is that the entire game will be available for play; this is not just a demo.

The official post reads, "The Forza Motorsport 5 weekend will allow you to check out the full Forza experience with special in-game challenges, play against others online and build your achievements and Gamerscore."

Beyond that, players will be able to test their skills out on the Grand Tour of Prague race. The in-game event is a multiclass test of endurance, that is sure to make players break a sweat.

If a player goes on to complete the entire event and drive a least 130 miles in game, they will receive a new badge and title for their 'Forza Motorsport 5' profile. After September 7, the game will be unavailable to play unless a copy is purchased.

On the plus side, if a player goes on to buy the game from the Xbox Store, or a retailer, they will keep all of the progress they've made in the game during the free weekend.

For gamers who are not familiar with the 'Forza' series, the newsletter went on to describe it, "Forza Motorsport 5 is a cinematic automotive journey starring the world's greatest cars and tracks, created for gamers and racing fans alike, only available on Xbox One."

They also mentioned some of the changes they've made since upgrading to the next-gen console, "The game features an entirely new graphics engine, 16-car multiplayer races, Drivatar opponents, cloud-powered gameplay, and hundreds of cars perfectly recreated in stunning 1080p and 60fps."

Last, but certainly not least, Xbox Live members who participate in the free weekend, automatically qualify for a chance at a once in a life time trip.

"As an added bonus, during the Forza Motorsport 5 weekend event, Xbox Live members in the U.S. can qualify for a chance to win an all-expenses** paid trip to the three-day Forza Motorsport Grand Prix Road Racing Class at the esteemed Bondurant School of High Performance Driving in Arizona."
