After a long and agonizing wait, fans have finally found out who Floyd Mayweather will meet face to face in the ring on September 13. Marcos Maidana and his trainer Robert Garcia will appear at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas for a rematch against Floyd Mayweather. The first fight between the two talented pugilists happened in May.

The press conference in Chigaco erupted when Mayweather had some harsh words for his opponent. Apparently, the boxing idol opened up some old wounds that will surely effect the outcome of the upcoming rematch.

'I was champion when he [Garcia] was champion. He's long gone away from the sport and I'm [still] champion. On September 13, I'll still be champion. I'm the type of fighter who can kick a fighter and his trainer's a**** on the same night. He had his chance to talk and he got up here and said nothing,' said Mayweather, addressing the crowd.

The previous match took place on May 3 and saw Mayweather win by a majority decision. However, according to many, it was the toughest fight Mayweather had met in his career in the last ten years.

This fight will be the fourth fight for Mayweather out of the six fights contracted with Showtime.
