Floyd Mayweather Next Fight: Who's The Next Fighter To Face The Undefeated Boxer?

Floyd Mayweather has continually upheld his respectable boxing record, and after his latest fight with Marcos Maidana, he has 47 wins with no losses. Now, fans of the legendary pugilist are looking to find out who's next on the list for his bout in May 2015.

According to International Business Times, there are four prospect boxers for Mayweather's next fight. They are Manny Pacquiao, Amir Khan, Miguel Cotto and Danny Garcia.

Most of the time when Mayweather's opponent is unknown, Pacquiao's name always pops out as a prospect. This makes the bout more talked about and anticipated. However, Mayweather already addressed the possibility of fighting Pacquiao in 2015, after his fight with Maidana.

Before this mega-fight's final arrangement, PacMan must beat Chris Algieri in his next match on November 22 in China.

Stepping back to Mayweather, it seems that before his fight with Maidana, many thought he was going to face Amir Khan in the ring. However, Khan was apparently passed over, which leaves him to be the next speculated match up for Mayweather.

The next possible opponent is Miguel Cotto, who has already attempted to stain Mayweather's perfect record. If he will be the next opponent, this is a good rematch to look forward to. He lost to Mayweather in their May 15, 2012 fight, in a unanimous decision.

Another possible opponent, and also undefeated fighter, is Danny Garcia. However, if he's going to face Mayweather, then he'll have to move up from the welterweight division.
