The Florida State Seminoles faces the Louisville Cardinals on October 30 at the Papa John's Cardinal Stadium in Louisville, Kentucky.

The undefeated Seminoles (7-0) are looking to extend their winning streak to eight games when they face their Atlantic division rivals the Louisville Cardinals on Thursday night.

"They're one of the top defenses in the country," said Florida State head coach Jimbo Fisher to reporters in reference to their upcoming opponents from Kentucky.

"They play the run well, play the pass. Create a lot of turnovers."

The Seminoles recently defeated the Notre Dame Fighting Irish by a final score of 31-27, after Florida State QB Jameis Winston went 23-31 for 273 yards, which was highlighted by two touchdowns and an interception October 18.

"We don't have anything to prove to anybody," said Winston to reporters.

"We've just got to keep playing and hopefully things will go our way. But one thing we are consistently proving is that we are winners."

Meanwhile, the Cardinals (6-2) are looking to stretch their winning streak to two games after their most recent victory versus the North Carolina State Wolfpack by 30-18 on October 18.

Louisville Bobby Petrino revealed how his team is looking forward to possibly ending the Seminoles' impressive winning streak when the two squads battle each other on Thursday.

"This is the type of games you like to play in and prepare for," said Petrino to reporters.

"So we're going to have a good time in doing it and excited that they're coming into our house to play."
