First Annual K-Love Fan Awards 2013 Featuring TobyMac, Amy Grant, Jeremy Camp & More in Nashville,TN May 31-June 2
Nashville, Tennessee is hosting the K-LOVE Fan Awards throughout the weekend of May 31-June 2.
The K-LOVE awards are the first and only fan voted awards show that has come to the Christian entertainment business. The awards show brings together the biggest names in Christian music, sports, books and even movies for the fans to have an inspirational night in Christian music. K-LOVE is originally a Christian Broadcasting group that has a total of 14 million listeners per week.
K-LOVE will host the event in the famous Ryman Auditorium in Nashville.
"We appreciate our relationship with both listeners and Nashville's music community". K-LOVE Chief Creative Officer David Pierce stated. " The K-LOVE fan awards is an opportunity for us to appreciate and encourage those who are making music and media that impacts our world for Jesus Christ.
"The mission of such award ceremony is to " reate a fan experience that celebrates and promotes artist, athletes, authors, and entertainers who, with excellence, engage and impact popular culture for Jesus Christ".
The awards will be hosted by popular A&E TV's show, "Duck Dynasty", Phil and Kay Robertson and Jase and Missy Robertson. "We are thrilled to be apart of this fan-centered event for the Christian music industry. With our own show, we know how important and vital the fans are to our success, and we understand why K-LOVE wants to host this event to give back to their listeners. As fans of Christian music, we are excited to host the show and add our own Duck Dynasty flare to the evening", stated the Robertsons.
The awards is holding a Ultimate Fan experience which includes a weekend stay at the Gaylord Opry Resort, meet and greets with the artists and worship services.
The categories being announced will be Female Vocalist, Male Vocalist, Duo/Group of the year, Artists of the year, and Song of the Year. Upon announcing the new event, the awards show attracted artists as TobyMac, Amy Grant, Jeremy Camp, Brandon Heath and more.
Tickets for the show have not been sold to the general public, but the Fan Experience package has gone on Sale for those who want a guaranteed seat for the event.
