Finding Favour: Debut Album and Tour with Building 429

Finding Favour has been on the "Give Me Jesus" tour with select artists as Building 429, Rhett Walker Band, and Carlos Whittaker since early April. The tour began with a weekend blowout in Atlanta, Georgia that had fans rocking to Christian music.

With the accumulation of artists attending the tour, the sound from all bands has fans gearing up for a Summer tour that will leave them talking. The tours three night opening weekend started out strong with three sell out shows. Along with opening weekend, the tour has also concluded multiple other sell out events.

Finding Favour has also just released their self-titled debut album "Finding Favour". The bands debut album includes their first single "Slip on By" that has accumulated some impressive scores since its release last fall. The video for the track has received a total of 100,000 views on YouTube and continues to impact the charts on Christian radio by breaking into the Top 25 on Christian AC charts. Toby Mac himself referred to the track as a song that "grabbed my heart and stirred some emotion in me that made me want to live differently".

The band also just finished up their tour with 33 Miles, Todd Agnew, and Phil Joel on the "A Circle of Artists" tour.

During their downtime, in February "Finding Favour" led a special chapel service in Daytona Beach, FL for the drivers and crew of the Daytona 500 race.

The south-Georgia newcomers have been collaborating with Rob Hawkins (Building 429), Christopher Stevens (tobyMac, Sanctus Real, and Mandisa), and Dustin Burnett (Kingsfoil) to produce their acclaimed six track album release. With high ratings from their single "Slip on By" the band is sure to have great reviews.

By signing with Gotee Records, it will be interesting to see the band start their journey in making it big in the Christian entertainment business. With their album being  released in early March, the Gotee Records band has already made quite the impact on fans.

With the lead single anchoring the album, you are met with vocals that encourage everyone to make the best out of everyday and to not let it slip out of our fingers. Finding Favour is sure to be a forerunner in this years 'New Artists of the Year' pick in the 2014 Dove Awards.
