'Final Fantasy 7 Remake' Release Date, News: Gameplay Trailer Pushed Back?

This news may be hard to swallow for Final Fantasy fans, but sources say that the long-awaited "Final Fantasy 7" remake would be delayed once again. Even the release of the gameplay would take a couple more time for it to be release to the fans.

According to Vine Report, creative director Tetsuya Nomura told the reporters his insights about the studio's upcoming games such as the remake of "Final Fantasy VII," "Kingdom Hearts 2.8" and "Kingdom Hearts 3." He also mentioned that he also has no idea when will they release any new information about the Final Fantasy Remake. However, he assured everyone that it will be something big once those news come out.

Also, in an interview with GameSpot, director Yoshinori Kitase spoke about the development of the game. "It will essentially be a full scale game for each part of the multi-part series," Kitase said. "In 'XIII,' each installment told the story from a different angle. It was kind of like approaching an unknown territory in a sense. Whereas with 'Final Fantasy VII Remake,' we already have a preexisting story, so it wouldn't really make sense if that isn't encompassed in a multi-part series," he added

He also added that he and writer Kazushige Kojima will be revising a couple of events in the game. He said that since they are the creator, they think that they have every right to alter some parts in the story. They think that for them, there is no "untouchable" part in the story.
