'Final Fantasy 15' Release Date News, Rumors: DLC Details Arriving This Summer; Game Confirmed For PC
Those scouring the Internet for any news or rumors regarding the "Final Fantasy 15" are in for a treat as director Hajime Tabata teased plenty of details on the French website, JeuxVideo.
A translation of the interview was published on Dual Shockers and Tabata talked about the DLC that may possibly be announced this summer, as well as the possibility of a PC version of the game.
"The plan is for DLC to prolong the pleasure of playing the game. The team doesn't want ordinary DLC. They're aiming to create DLC that will actually create enthusiasm among the players," the news report said.
Also, the director seems to have confirmed previous rumors about the "Final Fantasy 15," particularly on being built beyond consoles, considering all the challenges posed by PC from the technical standpoint.
"He would like a version of Final Fantasy XV even more technically elaborate, integrating things that the team couldn't do due to the limitations of console technology," the report added. "In order to achieve that, it would be necessary to begin almost from zero, and do research on what kind of technology to use. It wouldn't be a simple port of the console version."
Meanwhile, in other news, N4BB reported that "Persona 5" may be delayed because of the rumored release of "Final Fantasy 15."
The report said, "Amid all the chaos and confusion surrounding Persona 5 fans who are eagerly awaiting the latest installment to their favorite franchise, panic struck as others have insinuated that the supposed summer 2016 release of the much-awaited game will likely be scrapped in favor of a 2017 launch."
