'Final Fantasy 15' PS4 Release Date, Trailer: 'FF XV' Launches 2015 [VIDEO]

'Final Fantasy', the sensational Japanese game franchise created by Hironobu Sakaguchi, that dates back to the late 1980's, is reportedly set to release its 15th installment entitled 'Final Fantasy XV' sometime next year.

According to reports, the game was officially confirmed and announced at the Electronic Entertainment Expo 2013, but the developers have not revealed much more information about it since then.

The new title was reportedly set to be launched this year, but Square Enix, the game's publisher, allegedly decided to schedule its release for the following year. The delay resulted from the company's expected low sales, due to the world economic status. However, since then, Square Enix believes 2015 will be a good year for 'Final Fantasy XV'

The trailer for the game was released a few months back, and was well received well by franchise fans and non-fans alike. While there isn't much information about what the upcoming game has in store for players, there is news about the additions to the series that will follow 'Final Fantasy XV'

Apparently, Square Enix will waste no time after they launch the new FF game 2015, as they will immediately start work on the next two installments.

While there is no definite release date for 'Final Fantasy XVI' or 'Final Fantasy XVII' as of yet, rumor has it that the games will launch relatively soon after 'FF 15' releases. Apparently, speculation goes as far as to say the two subsequent titles will launch in 2016 and 2017, respectively.
