Final Fantasy 14 A Realm Reborn Launches on the PS4 April 14 in Two Editions, Standard and Collector's

Final Fantasy 14: A Realm Reborn will be heading to the PS4 on April 14, announced Square Enix today.

The game will be a MMOG with both a Standard Edition and Collector's Edition with pre-orders available as of today. If pre-ordered, the gamer will receive a mog-cap and a Cait Sith doll minion, reported Polygon. Also included with the Collector's Edition will be an art book, soundtrack CD, art cards, a themed security token and some in game bonus features and items.

PS4 gamer's will be able to beta test the game for free beginning Feb. 22, and PS3 owners can transfer accounts to the new console for free on April 11, reported Polygon.

The Standard Edition of the game will be $39.99 while The Collector's Edition will be $79.99. The digital Collector's Edition will be $59.99.

Currently, Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy 13 Demo is up on Xbox Live and the PlayStation Network, Square Enix announced last week.

According to Polygon, the demo is 1.14 GB and will focus on the character, Lightning. Some customizable features and battle schemes will be playable as well.

"Once in battle, you'll notice how the battle system has evolved from the traditional paradigm shift party system into strategically using Schema. Each Schema has its own ATB gauge, allowing you to attack relentlessly with commands mapped to corresponding buttons. Then you'll switch to a new Schema, and all of your attacks change too, allowing you to pummel the enemy with different elements and attacks. Lightning is a one-woman army," wrote a Square Enx executive on the PlayStation Blog.
