‘Fifty Shades of Grey’ Movie Trailer Video Released, Latest News: Beyonce on Trailer Soundtrack
An unlikely source recently offered a sneak peek into the highly anticipated "Fifty Shades of Grey' movie "” Beyonce.
Although the singer is not in the movie, Beyonce posted a 15-second teaser for the movie featuring a slowed down remix of her hit song, "Crazy in Love" to her Instagram account. This is the second hint at the singer's involvement with the movie soundtrack. Her song "Haunted" was used to score a different teaser which was shown at CinemaCon in March.
The teaser shows a shot of Jamie Dornan, dressed as the enigmatic character Christian Grey. There was also a glimpse of a woman's thigh, which is said to belong to Dakota Johnson, who nabbed the female lead, Anastasia Steele.
The author of the "Fifty Shades' trilogy books also shared her excitement about the upcoming official trailer of the movie. E.L. James tweeted, "Hold on to your hats folks. You'll get your first look at the FSoG movie trailer on July 24. I've had a sneak peek and WOW! #WeAimToPlease"
The "Fifty Shades of Grey' books are a worldwide phenomenon, topping best-sellers lists everywhere, including the United States and the United Kingdom. Since it was announced that a movie based on the first book was in the works, the casting of lead characters Christian Grey and Anastasia Steele was widely speculated and talked about in fan sites and in Hollywood. Fans pushed for the likes of Robert Pattinson, Ian Somerhalder, Matt Bomer, Henry Cavill, and Ryan Gosling to be considered for Christian, and Emma Watson, Scarlett Johansson, Jennifer Lawrence, Emilia Clarke, Olivia Wilde and Kat Dennings for Anastasia.
Dakota Johnson eventually got the role, beating out the likes of Shailene Woodley, Elizabeth Olsen, Imogen Poots, and Danielle Panabaker who auditioned for the role. Charlie Hunnam was initially cast as Christian Grey, but immediately bowed out due to scheduling conflicts with his show, "Sons of Anarchy'. Alexander Skarsgard and Stephen Amell were reportedly being considered for the role before Jamie Dornan was selected.
"Fifty Shades of Grey' will premiere on February 13, 2015.
