FIFA 15 Release Date: Latest News on Features and Gameplay on PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, Xbox One
Nearing the 'FIFA 15' release, EA has been announcing some of the features that players can expect from the new FIFA game.
FIFA 15 is set for a September 23 release on the PS3, PS4, Xbox 360, and Xbox One. The PC will also be getting a release at the same time as the consoles which is sort of a surprise for PC gamers. Aside from the consoles, hand-helds will also get a ported version of the game. Even with the availability on all these platforms, not all features will be available to each one.
The FIFA 15 Ultimate Team Legends team mode, for example, is a game mode that is exclusive only to Xbox users.
Electronic Arts (EA) has been promoting much of their game's graphical improvements from the previous one. Such improvements included AI emotional intelligence where the football players in-game will react accordingly to the play being made by whoever is in control. This is to add a realistic and natural feel to the matches being played.
To help with the realism that is being offered in 'FIFA 15', improved lighting, atmosphere, and a more dynamic audience have been added. What's more, players will noticeably breathe and hair will flow with the movement of the wind and the player.
In-game, the kits of the players during a match will move and rustle realistically and get dirty and muddy as the match goes on. The environment also get the realistic treatment, with the playing field getting noticeably worn out with footprints and slide marks as the game progresses.
Corner flags also react visibly when a ball or player hits it, the goal posts will rattle if a shot hits it, and the net will rise from the ground if a strike successfully lands.
These are just some of the features fans can expect in the new FIFA game.
