FIFA 15 Release Date: First Teaser Trailer Set for E3 Press Meet
Electronic Arts (EA) has announced that it will launch the first teaser trailer of FIFA 15, also known as FIFA Soccer 15 in North America, on June 9 under the title "Feel the Game."
The release will be coinciding with game developer's Electronic Entertainment Expo (E3) 2014 press conference scheduled at 8 p.m. ET. EA's press conference at the E3 2014 can be viewed live at: EA, IGN, Twitch and Gamespot.
EA has also announced that the new game will be released on an assortment of consoles, including Microsoft Windows, Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, PlayStation Vita, PlayStation Portable, Wii, Nintendo 3DS, iOS, XBox One and Playstation 4. While this will be the first FIFA edition that will not be released on PS2, EA CEO Andrew Wilson has recently revealed that altogether the company will release six titles during E3 2014.
The release date for FIFA 15 on all these platforms is likely to be the same, including the previous and next-gen consoles.
The existing FUT gamers will avail the FIFA Ultimated Team 15 (FUT 15) Web App on Sept. 12, 2014. It is also expected that these players will also receive some welcome packs and provided all things go well, EA will possibly launch the FIFA 15 demo on Sept. 9.
In fact, players using Android and iOS may be lucky, as it is expected that FIFA 14 will become free on these platforms. However, EA will definitely be using advertisments, as they have done eariler in the last SimCity.
Nevertheless, it is important to note that the FIFA 15 release dates mentioned are merely indicative, as EA has not may any official confirmation of when it will be possible to play FIFA 15. EA Sports announced the FIFA 14 release on May 23, 2013, so it is expected that soon they will announce the release dates for FIFA 15 in the summer season of this year.
