FIFA 14 Ultimate Team World Cup Mode Xbox One, PS4: Download Latest
The "FIFA 14 Ultimate Team" World Cup Mode will now be made available for download on PS4 and Xbox One on May 30 rather than the initial May 29 release date. A post on the EA sports forum said that World Cup and Kick-Off mode features for FIFA 14 Ultimate Team have been delayed owing to "unforeseen issues" but it should now be released on May 30 at 7 p.m. BST (2 p.m. ET).
Gamers have been left somewhat disappointed as the update only comprises the "Kick-Off" mode with the 32 teams at the Brazil World Cup. Much to the dismay of the fans, this update does not include the World Cup tournament or the career mode, which many gamers had desired.
The World Cup is a different mode for FIFA 14's Ultimate Team and it will be available in the form of a free update to EA Sports FIFA on Xbox One, Xbox 360, Play Station 3, Playstation 4 as well as on PC through automatic download.
The latest update will enable gamers to assemble the potential group from among all 32 teams in the World Cup. The game will be receiving official crests and kits from all the 32 teams. In addition, they will get the players from the different countries participating in the World Cup as well as the main arena which will host the finals of the FIFA 2014 World Cup.
The game also allows users to add players to different teams by purchasing packs with FIFA coins or points in the "FIFA Ultimate Team: World Cup" store. Moreover, the players will receive packs and coins as they enter the different levels in the World Cup. However, gamers will not be permitted to trade players in the FUT: World Cup mode with a view to make their experience a real one.
In addition, the players will be receiving exclusive items in the game "FIFA 14 Ultimate Team World Cup." They cannot be traded and will only be available in World Cup packs.
