'Fast & Furious 8' Movie Update: Vin Diesel’s Instagram Post Confirms Justin Lin’s Return As Director?

The rumor mill is abuzz with cast rumors and speculations about the upcoming 'Fast & Furious 8,' which is being touted as the most-anticipated movie of the franchise. Recently, actor Vin Diesel posted a photograph on Instagram, suggesting that Justin Lin may be at the helm of the 'Fast & Furious 7' sequel.

A report in IB Times, states that Justin Lin has already directed four out of the seven movies in the 'Fast & Furious' series. Another report in the same publication earlier hinted that Lin may also direct the final installment of the franchise. As fans are aware, when Lin vacated the director's chair after being at the helm of the third, fourth, fifth and sixth 'Fast & Furious' movies, his position was assumed by James Wan, who directed 'Fast & Furious 7.'

According to reports, following the success of 'Fast & Furious 7,' James Wan was uncertain regarding his future involvement in the 'Fast & Furious' franchise. Hence, Wan, who is well known as a maestro of horror films, maestro, started work on 'The Conjuring 2.'

Meanwhile, fans began speculating about the future of the series and many of them actually put high stakes on Justin Lin to return to be at the helm of the final film of the 'Fast & Furious' franchise.

From what it appears, Vin Diesel's recent Instagram post has dropped an important hint regarding Lin's return to the franchise.

Currently, fans are very eager to know what 'Fast & Furious 8' will have in store for them, and it has become the most-talked about installment. Some of the regular cast members have already confirmed their return to 'Fast & Furious 8,' which is also expected to have several new actors.

As of now, it is more or less certain that Vin Diesel (Dominic Toretto), Dwayne Johnson (Luke Hobbs), Jason Statham (Deckard Shaw) and Kurt Russell (Mr Nobody) will be joined by actresses Eva Mendes, Ruby Rose and Helen Mirren.

According to reports, Mendes and Rose will be part of Hobbs' and Dom's gang, while Mirren is likely to be the new villain who will team up with Shaw.

'Fast & Furious 8' is slated for release on April 14, 2017.
