‘Fast & Furious 7’ Release Date on April 2015, Trailer Premieres Next Week at Special Live Event

After almost a year delay, following the tragic death of actor Paul Walker, the cast of 'Fast & Furious' are finally revving up for the premiere of the seventh installment in the franchise.

After the fatal car accident death of Paul Walker who played Brian O'Conner in the film, the franchise was placed on "indefinite hiatus" and the seventh installment in the "Fast & Furious" series was reportedly put on hold.

Furthermore, the James Wan film has been renamed and will now be called 'Furious 7'

Reports confirmed that filming will commence with the help of CGI technology and body doubles.

Caleb and Cody Walker's body size and mannerisms will be used in place of his late brother. Aside from that, unused material featuring Walker from the past two 'Fast & Furious' films will also be used.

Meanwhile, Universal Pictures confirmed that it will be releasing the first trailer on Saturday, Nov. 1 in a special all-out event.

The special live event, which will be held on the same day at 12 pm, and will feature stars of the film including Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson 'Ludacris' Bridges and Jason Statham. The panel of actor will remain present at the event to answer fan questions.

'Furious 7' will pick up where it left off in the previous film in Los Angeles. The story will revolve around Ian Shaw (Jason Statham) plotting to get vengeance from the death of his brother on which he pins on Dominic Toretto (Vin Diesel) and his friends.

The film will also star 'Fast & Furious 7' will star Vin Diesel, Michelle Rodriguez, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Jordana Brewster, Michelle Rodriguez, Tyrese Gibson, Kurt Russell plus a cameo from Iggy Azalea.

'Fast & Furious 7', also known as 'Furious 7' is set to premiere on April 3, 2015.
