An exciting announcement from the 'Fast & Furious 7' team comes in the form of a Facebook post. Apparently, the movie is finished and has shot its final scenes, and it's still scheduled to premiere on April 3, 2015.

After many delays and the death of Paul Walker, many see this as a great achievement for cast and crew. The production posted on their official Facebook page last July 11 announcing their gratitude to all their supporters just after their last shot for the production.

"We made it. Today we completed the last shot in the production of FAST & FURIOUS 7.We wanted to take this moment to express how thankful we are for your support. We felt the love and strength from our fans throughout this journey, and it's because of you that we got here." the production wrote.

Fans of the series were excited as thousands of people 'liked' the post in just a few hours. The post was accompanied by a photo of Vin Diesel who was also reported to have had a challenging time shooting the film. According to the post, 'Fast & Furious' had been in the running for more than a decade and Diesel had always been leading them ever since.

"Our FAST family has been together for almost fifteen years now and has grown a lot in that time. From the start, Vin has been our leader who feels what's right for FAST in his gut and in his heart. When we had to stop production last year, Vin gathered us back together and moved us forward when we needed it most. He led us to this day," the post continued.

According to the production, the film is expected to be a special one as they offer homage to the late Walker and to all the 'Fast & Furious' fans, "Our family is big and strong but it won't ever quite be whole again without Paul. All of us -- those who've been here from the start and those whose first FAST film is 7 -- wanted to create a special film for him and for you. We believe we have," they added.

With that, it is now official that the movie is on its way and it's just a matter of time until April 3, 2015, "The countdown to April 3 begins," the post concluded.
