Fast & Furious 6, Watch Behind the Scenes Footage on the Biggest Scene in the New Movie (VIDEO)

WIRED and Conde Nast Entertainment have release exclusive behind the scenes footage to find out how director Justin Lin filmed Dominic Toretto's (Vin Diesel's) blazing last minute escape from a massive, crashing and exploding Antonov aircraft for his new #1 blockbuster film "Fast & Furious 6."

This incredible footage is the work of renowned visual effects house "Double Negative."

If there's one word that sums up Fast & Furious 6 it's neither fast nor furious -- it's "ridiculous." This is a movie that in no way, shape, or form cares about being realistic when it comes to what the human body can endure, what the metal frames of cars can endure, or what the laws of physics would have to say about pretty much every action scene in the movie. And that's a good thing. It makes for a ludicrously entertaining big-screen experience. (via movies.com)

Justin Lin and his crew go to painstaking lengths to give technical dedication to making it all consistent and believable within the movie's own exagerrated world.

As you can see in the movie above, they even make at least the frame of a real plane to use and actually have real stunt drivers driving in, thru and around the plane with real fire going on.

Are you impressed with them trying to go to the lengths they are to make it as "real" as possible for each scene?
