Paul Walker Dies at Age 40 by Fiery Car Crash
Actor, Paul Walker, died yesterday from a car crash in Southern California while he was attending a charity event for his own organization, Reach Out Worldwide. The actor who is best known for his role in the hit movie series, "Fast & Furious", was 40-years old. Walker was a passenger in his friend's 2005 Porsche Carrera GT car, when the vehicle crashed into a tree leading it to burst into flames. The charity event was held to raise donations for the Typhoon Haiyan disaster relief fund in the Philippines.
According to the Los Angeles County Sheriffs department, speed was a factor in the crash. The wreck took place around 3:30 p.m. nearly 300 yards from the office park where the charity event was held. Alongside of the road there are reported doughnnut marks and burned rubber as if someone was trying to accomplish figure eight patterns. Sargent Brian Allen, from the Los Angeles County Sheriffs department, stated that the marks may have not been from Walkers crash, but it is very likely. Fire Department arrived on the scene and distinguished the flames to find two bodies, who were both pronounced dead at the scene. The county coroners office stated that the bodies will take some time to identify them due to the extreme conditions of the corspes. Walker was working on the seventh film of the franchise, "Fast & Furious", which is due sometime next year. Paul Walker is survived by his 15-year old daughter, Meadow.
