Following the tragic death of 'Fast and Furious' star Paul Walker in November of last year, production for the latest installment of the blockbuster action-racing movie had been tremendously delayed. Originally set to premiere in July 2014, the latest of the film series' premiere had been indefinitely postponed until earlier last month, when producers announced that the much-awaited movie is now slated to be released on April 3rd of next year.

Before his sudden death, Paul Walker was in the middle of filming 'The Fast and the Furious 7' late last year. Shortly after his tragic accident while driving his friend's Porsche Carrera GT along Kelly Johnson Parkway in Valencia, Santa Clarita in California, film production was put to a halt as his co-stars mourned his death and the film producers tried to figure out how they would go about finishing the movie.

The film's producers later on decided to use Walker's brothers, Caleb Walker and Cody Walker as his stand-ins to complete the iconic movie with the help of CGI.

'The Fast and the Furious 7' production team recently announced that it has wrapped up and is ready for its 2015 premiere through a post on its Facebook page, which was accompanied by a photo of actor, Vin Diesel. In the post, the team thanked the movie's fans for their unrelenting support during the extensive and extremely emotional shoot for the film's sequel.

'The Fast and the Furious 7' stars include Paul Walker as Brian O'Conner, Vin Diesel as Dominic Toretto, Jordana Brewster as Mia Toretto, Michelle Rodriguez as Letty Ortiz, Nathalie Emmanuel as Megan, Tyrese Gibson as Roman Pearce, Jason Statham as Ian Shaw, and Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson as Luke Hobbs.

The iconic seventh installment is evidently Paul Walker's last film. Before his death, he was able to complete a documentary entitled 'Hours' which was shown in December 2013, and 'Brick Mansions', a remake of the 'French District 13', which was released earlier this year.
