Fast and Furious 7: Paul Walker's Porsche was Traveling at 100 MPH on Impact, Drunk Driving Ruled Out

Fast and Furious star Paul Walker's unfortunate death in November has definitely left an impact on his millions of fans. Walker and his friend Roger Rodas were killed shortly after taking a spin in a brand new Porsche Carrera GT.

New reports by Fox411 indicate that the coroner confirmed what many witnesses told investigators; Rodas was the driver of the car during the crash, and Walker's friend/business partner Rodas was driving the Porsche at 100 mph at the time of collision.

The Porsche was one of only a few hundred made and was on display at the fundraiser event in which Walker was in attendance.

Walker wanted to test ride the high-performance vehicle and the two took a drive that they would never return from.

The car clipped a light pole and a tree before erupting in flames on a Southern California street. The deaths of 40 year-old Walker and 38 year-old Rodas were officially ruled an accident by the coroner.

KTLA.com said the autopsy stated that Walker died from the "combined effects of traumatic and thermal injuries," his body was found in a "pugilistic stance," guarding himself from the impending impact.

The coroner's toxicology report indicated there was no alcohol, or any other narcotic substance detected in either of the men.

Paul Walker once a Mormon, is quoted on IMDB saying he was a Christian.

"The things that drove me crazy growing up was how everyone works at fault-finding with different religions. The people I don't understand are atheists. I go surfing and snow boarding and I'm always around nature. I look at everything and think, 'Who couldn't believe there's a God? Is all this a mistake?' It just blows me away," Walker said.

The latest installment of the Fast and Furious franchise has continued production and is scheduled for a 2015 release.
