Fast and Furious 7 Movie Cast News: Vin Diesel Reveals Upcoming Film Was 'Hardest Movie I Ever Made’ After Paul Walker's Death (VIDEO)
In a new interview, Vin Diesel talked about how difficult it was to continue filming the upcoming Fast and Furious 7 after the death of his "brother" Paul Walker.
"It was surreal. It was, needless to say, the hardest movie I've ever done," said Diesel to Access Hollywood's Liz Hernandez, "I remember when the tragedy happened, my mother said to me, 'It's not fair that you have to mourn in front of the world.' What's even harder is to mourn and simultaneously that the person is next to you, so every time you turn to whoever's sitting in that chair you see not Paul."
The 47-year-old New York native further expressed his love for his fallen friend in another interview.
"There's only one Paul Walker. When you've worked with someone for 15 years and you know each other's idiosyncrasies and you've created magic together for so long, it's a strange thing to mourn that person and simultaneously pretend that person is next to you," said Diesel to Entertainment Tonight.
Diesel also thanked his co-stars for coming together in order to complete the latest installment in The Fast and the Furious franchise in honor of Paul Walker.
"It's very, very weird," said Diesel to Access Hollywood, "The good thing is, because we took all the time, the movie is a true testament to everyone coming together and wanting to honor both the saga and our brother, and there's something very beautiful about that. I think Fast 7 wins Best Picture, whether we want to or not!"
The Fast and Furious 7 film which has an all-star cast including the late Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Jordana Brewster, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, Kurt Russell and Romeo Santos will appear in movie theaters on April 3, 2015.
