After "Fast & Furious 7" began filming in Atlanta last week, Vin Diesel recently sent a post via Facebook of himself and Jason Statham on the set of their upcoming film.

 "Hats off to Jason (Statham) for going above and beyond. SEVEN will be EPIC!!!" wrote Diesel on his Facebook page on April 6, along with a photo of him and Statham in front of a demolished car.

Diesel also remembered his fallen friend who died in a blazing car accident on November 30.

"P.S. Making Pablo proud," wrote Diesel in the same post paying respects to his former co-star and friend Paul Walker.

The film had been previously shooting for several months and was expected to be released this year before Walker's untimely death. Now the movie will be released next year.

"There's nothin' better than that car stuff. I've never seen anything to compare to it. And Vin (Diesel) is terrific. Everybody in it is just terrific. They're a great little crew. I know Tyrese. I know Paul Walker. I've met all of them, and they're all really cool. I'm really excited to be involved with it... I'm just not gonna tell ya what I'm gonna do," said Statham to EW.com back in July 2013.

In addition, Diesel also posted a video via Facebook with Walker's former Jiu-Jitsu teacher Higgins on Sunday.

"The reason why we specifically have Higgins here is because many many years ago my brother Paul Walker introduced me to him," said Diesel alongside Higgins in the video posted on Facebook two days ago. "He was Paul Walker's Jiu-Jitsu teacher, so I met him through my brother, it made all the sense in the world to invite him into our world, so he could put his stamp of approval on it because he knows how important it is for this film to be the best film in honor of my brother Paul Walker."

The "Fast and the Furious 7" film which stars the late Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster and Kurt Russell will appear in theaters on April 10th 2015.
