'Fast and Furious 7' Movie Cast News, Rumors: Paul Walker's Brother Confirmed to Appear in Blockbuster Film
Universal Pictures have recently revealed Paul Walker's character, the iconic Brian O'Conner, will appear in the newest chapter of the film franchise thanks to the late actor's brother helping to complete the film. Previously, there was a lot of gossip and rumors on whether or not the late 40-year-old actor would ever appear in the film after his untimely death in a car accident on Saturday, Nov. 30.
"We have resumed shooting and now welcome Paul's brothers, Caleb and Cody, into our FAST family. Caleb and Cody are helping us complete some remaining action for their brother and fill in small gaps left in production," wrote the production company via Facebook yesterday when the major announcement was made public. "Having them on set has made us all feel that Paul is with us too."
The announcement also talked about the late actor's contribution to the franchise.
"We are just under a year away from the release of FAST & FURIOUS 7, and this film is the most important we've ever done together. It will allow the character of Brian O'Conner to live on and let us celebrate Paul in his most defining role," according to the Facebook post yesterday.
At Sunday night's MTV Movie Awards show, "Fast and Furious 7" stars Vin Diesel and Jordana Brewster paid respect to their fallen friend at the MTV Movie Awards.
"I'm always going to be here for you even when you tell me to go," said Vin Diesel to the audience at Sunday's MTV Movie Awards show. "That's who Paul Walker was. The world saw his magic on screen. The world saw his philanthropic endeavors. Yet, I wish the world could have seen how special a brother he was."
Brewster is best known for playing as Mia Toretto aka the wife of Walker's character Brian O'Connor in the "The Fast and the Furious" film franchise.
"This past November, tragedy struck when Paul Walker's life shockingly ended. The immense outpouring of grief around the world was a reflection of the kind of man Paul was. He was so, so special. I was lucky enough to work with him over the last 15 years and witness the generosity of his heart every day I was with him. He was humble. He thought about others," said Brewer to audience at the 2014 MTV Movie Awards a few nights ago. "Whether you knew Paul for five minutes or were a close friend, he made you feel like the most important person in the world."
The "Fast and the Furious 7" film which has all-star cast including the late Paul Walker, Vin Diesel, Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson, Tyrese Gibson, Ludacris, Michelle Rodriguez, Jordana Brewster and Kurt Russell will appear in movie theaters on April 10th 2015.
