After Paul Walker's tragic and fatal accident back in November, 2013, the cast and crew of 'Fast and Furious 7' had to make some changes to the film and at the same time preserve his role in his final film.

At one point, the entire production for the film was halted, which occurred shortly after his death last year. Since then the cast and crew had continued to push through their mourning and had to figure out ways to retain Walker's spirit in the unfinished film.

Originally, the producers thought about ways they could have his character, Brian O'Connor, die in the film, and they might just take that approach. However, they cast his brothers Caleb and Cody to fill in for some of his scenes. While the brothers look similar, their differences are evidently noticeable, so CGI was used to supplement the replacement.

On a side note, some reports claim that Cody will not be taking over the role of Brian O'Connor in the film, but he will take on the role of Mia's new love interest, instead. This leaves Caleb as the primary replacement for his late brother in 'Fast and Furious 7'. A recent photo of Cody and Mia together has fans thinking the rumors are true, but the brothers' roles in the film have not yet been totally specified.

Also, Michelle Rodriguez recently shared a photo of her with Vin Diesel in a car while they pay tribute to the late actor as the film has now been confirmed as wrapped up.

The seventh installment in the 'Fast and Furious' film franchise will be released April 3, 2015
