'Fantastic Four' Reboot Movie News: Michael B. Jordan Address Latest Casting Controversy 'You can't make everybody happy' (VIDEO)

When the Fantastic Four casting was revealed, it ignited multiple discussions and displeasure from fans because its different approach to Marvel's comic book characters. Michael B. Jordan has been at the center of the casting controversy since it was revealed that he will play The Human Torch in the upcoming reboot. Jordan has finally expressed his thought's on the recent fan criticism. In addition, he also revealed his knowledge of the iconic superhero.

Cinefilos.it recently posted a video from an event in Rome where Jordan revealed that he "expected" some would not like him casted as Fantastic 4's Sue Richards's brother. Jordan said the outrage of fans not being pleased with change the character's continuity. In addition, he accepts the fact that he "can't make everybody happy."

Jordan also revealed that he was "a comic book guy" growing up and that the Human Torch was actually a favorite character of his. Jordan told the Italian press in the video about his portrayal of Johnny Storm aka The Human Torch.

"It's going to be fun to kind of show a side of me that I don't really get to show on screen, to be a little bit lighter, funnier, just more personality. It's going to be fun," said Jordan to the Italian media in Rome in a recent interview.

While some comic book devotees may not been happy with his casting due to fact that Jordan's ethnicity is different from the original comic book rendition of the Human Torch, it does appear that Jordan will maintain the humorous and charismatic personality of the famed Marvel Comics character. 

Along with Jordan as Human Torch, Kate Mara as Sue Richards/Invisible Woman aka The Human Torch's sister, Jamie Bell as The Thing and Miles Teller as Reed Richards/Mr. Fantastic. It will be directed by Josh Trank, and the script will be written by Simon Kinberg,

"The Fantastic Four" movie reboot is set to arrive in American theaters on June 19, 2015.
