‘Fantastic Four’ 2015 Cast News, Plot Rumors: Star Toby Kebbell Reveals Background Story Behind Villain Dr. Doom

Actor Toby Kebbell recently revealed some of the story behind his character, Dr. Doom, who's the villain in the upcoming 'Fantastic Four' reboot movie.

Unfortunately, Fox Network has not released many details about its upcoming 'Fantastic Four' reboot and passed on the chance to appear at the 2014 San Diego Comic-Con. However, Kebbell, the actor set to portray Dr. Doom on the big screen, has revealed details about his upcoming role.

"I'm excited to see it too," Kebbell said, "The only thing I can tease you about is what I worked on most was the voice because nobody - even in the cartoons, when I was watching them I was like, 'So where's he from?' There's a mild change and I'll tell you because of our history."

Despite Fox's decision to withhold the details of their film, Kebbell decided to disclose information about the film during an interview with Collider.

"He's Victor Domashev, not Victor Von Doom in our story. And I'm sure I'll be sent to jail for telling you that," Kebbell said, "The Doom in ours - I'm a programmer. Very anti-social programmer. And on blogging sites I'm 'Doom'."

This is a change from the character's original storyline where Dr. Doom was the ruler of Latveria, a fictional country in Eastern Europe.

Other than the film's presentation of its own version of Dr. Doom, the film also decided to bring about changes to its main cast and its storyline.

Kate Mara, who is set to play Sue Storm, claimed that the film would not be based on anything from the comics. On a side note, Jaime Bell was cast as the usually big and bulky Ben Grimm, also known as The Thing

It was also announced that Johnny Storm, who is originally of Caucasian descent, was to undergo a change in ethnicity as African-American actor Michael B. Jordan was cast in the role.

'Fantastic Four' will be directed by Josh Trank and is set to hit theaters on June 19, 2015.
