'Fallout 4' Release Date Rumors: Bethesda to Delay Launch?
At one point in time, Bethesda Softworks was rumored to be releasing the fourth addition to the 'Fallout' franchise in 2014. However, new rumors are saying that the developers are dropping the game's production all together.
Besides that, others speculate that Bethesda will pass the job onto Battle Studios, a newly formed video game developer.
As it stands, Todd Howard of Bethesda says the company has no release date for the game as of yet.
According to International Business Times, since 'Fallout 4' missed the expected 2014 launch date, it's going to be postponed until 2015 instead.
Gaming journalists are speculating the release date of the new title off of patterns noticed in the releases of the previous 'Fallout' installments. Bethesda released 'Fallout 3' two years after 'Fallout: New Vegas', and both were launched in October.
If this pattern were to hold true, then 'Fallout 4' would have released in October, 2012, but that evidently did not happen. Some speculate that a 'Fallout 4' title was delayed from its production due to other Bethesda projects.
Beyond that, some rumors have emerged saying that a 'Fallout 4' title will be released on Xbox One, Windows PC, and PlayStation 4, in the Fall of 2015.
Once again, no information has been confirmed about a new 'Fallout' title, so it seems as though eager fans will just have to continue reading about speculation and rumors.
