Falling Skies, the popular science fiction drama on TNT, has fans on the edge of their seats as several characters are separated and are attempting to break away from the Espheni ensare. It is safe to say that the task at hand for those characters will prove to be an arduous one.

For instance, Hal Mason (Drew Roy) and Maggie (Sarah Carter) have been having problems even before they were separated by Espheni, and the chances of a relationship between Maggie and Ben is slowly becoming possible.

At the end of Season 3, viewers saw Karen's death looming over Hal and Maggie like a thunderhead, and the couple was unsuccessful in thrashing out their issues on their journey from Boston. However, Hal tried, but in the end failed to overcome the issues.

In an interview with She Knows, Roy explained, "Hal is the kind of guy that likes to get it all out on the table, deal with it and then move on," adding, "I don't think he likes to hold grudges. So as this season opens, you see him making another attempt to talk with Maggie [and] put that behind them so they can go back to being who they are together - Hal and Maggie - and trusting each other."

As the love triangle between Hal-Maggie-Ben continues to intensify, recent word from Drew Roy assured fans about Maggie's return to her old self, most likely after she has resolved her issues with Ben. A Tweet on Sunday from the actor read, "Hal will bring back the Maggie that everyone loves, but it will take some time."

In order to find out whether Hal and Maggie will be able to overcome their problems, Falling Skies fans will have to wait until Sunday at 10 p.m. E.T. when the next episode is airs on TNT.
