Fall 2014 TV Shows Cancellations: ABC, FOX, NBC, TLC Axe Sitcoms and Reality Shows
Lots of new TV shows haven't lasted a single season this year, and quite a few didn't even make it past Fall. There was also one returning show that got canceled because of a scandal. Stepping into the early TV casualties of 2014, some interesting cancellations are found.
ABC
'Manhattan Love Story'
This romantic comedy sitcom got the axe in October, which gives it the unfortunate distinction of being the first new show to get cancelled. It was about two young people who met over a blind date - and the audience was able to hear everything going on in their heads.
Fox
'Utopia'
Fox axed this reality show after letting it air for two months. It focused on a group of people living in an isolated compound trying to create their own society. The show has been pulled from Fox's schedule, effective immediately, however, its live-stream will wrap up on Sunday.
NBC
'A to Z'
NBC decided to cancel this show last week, but also decided to let it wrap up its season, so all 13 episodes will air, as eleven of them have already been filmed. It's basically a romantic comedy about a couple, Andrew (Ben Feldman) and Zelda (Cristin Milioti).
'Bad Judge'
NBC decided to cancel this show last week, but also decided to let it wrap up its season, so all 13 episodes will air. Ten of them have already been filmed. The show had been a legal comedy starring Kate Walsh as the titular "bad judge."
TLC
'Here Come Honey Boo Boo'
This reality show, which has lasted four seasons has been canceled in the wake of a scandal in which Mama June Shannon was found to be secretly dating a convicted child molester.
