Also, at the recent Cannes Film Festival, Gosling premiered his directorial skills for his new film Lost River, and Mendes was no where to be found.

Some reports claim that Mendes probably wants to keep a low profile since her name was mentioned in break up rumors, but according to a source of OK! Magazine, the couple have definitely broken up, "Eva said the relationship just ran its course. There wasn't a lot to say. He was everything you're supposed to want in a guy--great on paper--but she felt like something was missing," the source said.

Although Mendes and Gosling haven't spoken about the status of their relationship, some reports claim that they had already split up especially since their last photograph together was in November. However, there have been a few shots of Gosling driving Mendes car, which may be a good sign for the fans of the union.
