Tim Tebow Hired by ESPN as College Football Analyst for SEC Network

ESPN revealed that Tim Tebow will work as a college football expert for their network.

Tebow signed a multi-year contract with ESPN to work for the SEC Network, which debuted in August 2014. He will make his ESPN arrival on Jan. 6, 2014 during a pregame show prior to the BCS National Championship Game.

The two time National Champion won the 2007 Heisman Trophy, an award given to the best player in college football annually, during an illustrious career as the University of Florida Gators's quarterback.

Tebowmania might be over in the NFL, but Tebow has not abandoned his vision of being a perennial All-Pro Quarterback in the National Football League just yet.

"I am so excited that ESPN has given me this incredible opportunity," said Tebow in a statement released by ESPN yesterday. "When I was six years old I fell in love with the game of football, and while I continue to pursue my dream of playing quarterback in the NFL, this is an amazing opportunity to be part of the unparalleled passion of college football and the SEC."

The former Denver Broncos and New York Jets athlete was cut by the New England Patriots during the 2013 NFL preseason and did not find a new squad during the regular season.

After being released by the Patriots, Tebow made his intentions known that he has an unrelenting yearning to return to the National Football League as a starting quarterback.

Tebow's new contract will not prevent the him from returning to the NFL, according to the ESPN announcement.
