Eminem New Album, World Tour 2013, Kendrick Lamar Collaboration 'I'm a Fan', Labor Day Release Date News
Eminem news and rumor alerts are at an all time high with the imminent release of his new album.
Kendrick Lamar has been rumored to be on a track on the new record and but that news still cannot be confirmed. Kendrick did share about his visit with Eminem earlier this sumer (the picture above is from their visit).
"It was unexpected, I just went to Detroit and I had a show out there and I got a call saying, 'Em [wants you] to come to the studio, come to the studio fast ... That was me actually just meeting and greeting. I bumped heads with Eminem [in the past], but it was very brief, that was my first time really chopping it up with him, getting to ask all the questions I wanted to ask him," the 26-year-old Lamar told MTV.
Lamar did get some words of wisdom from the rapper. Em hoping that Lamar would not make the same mistakes that he made. "Always stay focused on the craft and not indulge in the other crazy stuff that comes around," Eminem told Lamar.
A Detroit radio station leaked July 2 as a release date for Eminem's new album earlier this summer. This clearly did not happen and the next big date fans are hoping would possibly happen for a release would be Labor Day 2013.
He has confirmed dates Aug 15-25 in Europe and will close his time out there headlining this year's Reading and Leeds Festivals in the UK over the weekend August 23-25. Also, August 17th in Slane Castle, Ireland where Plan B, EarlWolf, Yelawolf & Slaughterhouse will be joining him. August 20th at Glasgow Summer Session he will be joined by Kendrick Lamar, EarlWolf & Yelawolf. August 22nd in France he will be joined by Kendrick Lamar, EarlWolf & Slaughterhouse.
Reading Festival have announced this year's Headliners which include Green Day, Biffy Clyro and Eminem. Also playing the festival this year are Fall Out Boy, System of a Down, Deftones, Bring Me The Horizon, Nine Inch Nails, New Found Glory, Frank Turner, Brand New, Skrillex, The Lumineers and more.
