Eminem New Album, 2013 Tour: Release Date After Memorial Day / Tyler the Creator, Kendrick Lamar Open on Tour / U.S. Dates Still Unconfirmed

Eminem fans rejoice! 'The Real Slim Shady' rapper is blasting into summer with a new album and 2013 European tour. Eminem announced he was working on his eighth studio album back in October via Twitter. A few weeks ago long-time Eminem collaborator Dr. Dre gave us a status update in a radio interview with Power 106.

"Em is finishing up his project," Dre said in the interview. "And for me, man, I've just gotten inspired again to go back into the studio. I'm just really having fun with life and having fun with being creative and trying new and different things with myself, just trying to stay active." Ok then.

If Em's new music is enough to get Dr. Dre inspired after thirty years in the music then it must be great! Could there be a song or two from the legendary duo? I hope so.

Though no dates have been selected for the U.S., Eminem has confirmed August 15-25 European shows, wrapping up in the U.K. where he's headlining the Reading and Leeds Festivals. [August 23-25]. According to rumors around the Web, Tyler the Creator and Kendrick Lamar will be opening for the 8 Mile star.

Green Day, Fall Out Boy, Nine Inch Nails, Skrillex and The Lumineers are also scheduled headliners at the Reading and Leeds festivals this year.

Eminem's eighth studio album is rumored to drop May 28, a day after Memorial Day. Stay tuned to BREATHEcast for full coverage of Eminem's new album and 2013 tour.
