Is Eminem still recording his new album? The latest reports indicate the "Slim Shady" rapper is wrapping up his latest studio album, scheduled for a release some time in 2013. What once started as a new release in after Memorial Day has now turned into a full-fledged Internet sensation.

Word is Em is taking his time with the new album, partly because he was the executive producer on his protégé Skylar Grey's new album. Does Shady owe Grey a bit? She was the co-writer on the Eminem smash "Love the Way You Lie" featuring the Barbadian beauty Rihanna.

Skylar was kind enough to share some details about working with the reclusive rapper with radio station 92.3 Now:

''Working with Em was one of the most amazing things in my entire life to ever happen and that will probably will ever happen. He has been so great at giving me feedback and I really trust his opinion.''

Grey later said in an interview with AntiMusic.com: ''I got a lot of experience from doing that with my mom because I had to learn a lot as a young kid. How to be on when I felt like crap. How the show always must go on, no matter how bad things are. How to be professional."

Now that Em has wrapped things up with his female protégé, could his new album finally take precedent? Hopefully! We all want new music from one of the best rappers alive.
