Eminem New Album 2013 News

Inside rumors confirm that this past year, rapper Eminem has been busy in the studio working on new sounds for his post-Memorial Day release of his eighth studio album. Paul Rosenberg, president of Shady Records, insists that a new album will definitely be released sometime this summer. But, fans continue to ask for a more concrete timeline.

Initial reports suggested the record would drop on May 28. We know that that's impossible now. So, if not May, when?

The latest rumors say that brand new Eminem music will hit the airwaves on July 2. But, it might be more complicated then that. Eminem's protege, Skylar Grey, is set to release HER new album "Don't Look Down" on July 9. Slim might wait so that he doesn't steal all of her thunder? 

Rumors imply that maybe Em will release his own record in LATE July, sometime before he kicks-off a mini-tour in Europe. Again, such talk remains total hearsay, but before something become actually released in the real world, heresay is all that we have.

Eminem has yet to confirm this official release date himself. Aspiring singer/songwriter Skylar Grey (real name, Holly Brook) works closely with Slim and Interscope Records. Her sophomore album "Don't Look Down" is scheduled for a July 9 release date through both KidinaKorner Records AND Eminem's Shady/Aftermath/Interscope Records. In order to for its success, perhaps Slim will wait to have his own release.
