Eminem New Album 2013: "MMLP2" Release Date Confirmed / "Berzerk" Single Featured in VMAs Ad / "Berzerk" Lyrics [LISTEN HERE]

Though we had to sit through Miley's gross, stupid, yet twerk-tastic performance during the 2013 VMAs, we did finally get some confirmed news on Eminem's upcoming album. The name of the album is MMLP2 with a release date of November 5 2013.

Along with the announcement, Em also gave us a sneak peak at his upcoming single "Berzerk" which is supposed to drop Tuesday.

"Now this s---'s about to kick off, this party looks wack/Let's take it back to straight hip-hop and start it from scratch/I'm 'bout to bloody this track up, everybody get back/?That's why my pen needs a pad cause my rhymes on the raaag/Just like I did with addiction I'm 'bout to kick it," rhymes Em on the Beastie Boys sample.

Later in the bridge Eminem raps: "Take your shoes off, let your hair down and go berzerk all night long/Grow your beard out, just weird out and go berzerk all night long."

Em enlisted the help of long-time collaborator Dr. Dre and old-school hip-hop legend Rick Rubin to produce his album. Dre was always a name surrounding rumors about Em's new album, but Rubin came as a shock during the VMAs ad.

Eminem released his first album Infinite in 1996. MMLP2 will be Em's eighth studio album and first since Recovery in 2010, which debuted at number one on Billboard and took home the Grammy for Best Rap Album.
