Game of Thrones fans will be excited by recent rumors that lead actress Emilia Clarke and Cory Michael Smith may be dating after the pair were seen at the Vanity Oscars Party together.

The rumors in fact contradict other rumors that Clarke is currently being courted by Kit Harington, her co-star in HBO's "Games of Thrones."

Clarke was accompanied by her other co-star Cory Michael Smith to the Vanity Oscars Party. According to reports, the duo met during the "Breakfast at Tiffany's" revival on Broadway in March.

When asked about her love life, Clarke confirmed though that she is still single, however, that may change soon following the reports about Harington and Smith.

A source has said, "She's very comfortable with Cory but is completely enamored by Kit. You can see that these two are on a collision course with romance."

More recently, Clarke said to the British InStyle magazine, "People keep asking me who I'm dating right now and the truth is... wait for it... no one. And that's OK. I'm figuring out a lot of stuff right now."

It is possible that Clarke is now weighing the pros and cons of entering into a long-distance relationship with Harington.

Clarke has previously dated Seth Macfarlane - a relationship that lasted for six months before they split, saying that they were always apart and that they found it hard to overcome the long distance relationship.

Currently, Macfarlane is based in Los Angeles, while Clarke is busy filming "Game of Thrones" in Moracco and Croatia. It now seems that prior to entering into another relationship, Clarke wants to ensure that distance will not be an issue.

According to some reports, Clarke seems to be falling for Harington, and a source has been quoted as saying, "Emilia has been telling friends they would make a cute couple. He's usually in Iceland or Ireland, while she films in Morocco or Croatia."
